The federation has declared “AIF ROAD SAFETY VISION 2030-ZERO FATALITY.”
Working in tandem with the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, State Govts, and State Transport Department Associations, the Federation has set a goal to MAKE INDIAN ROADS SAFE WITH ZERO FATALITY BY THE YEAR 2030.

Technical Executive Officers Association
All India Federation of Motor Vehicle Department, Technical Executive Officer's Association was founded at Bangalore on 08-02-1986, at a special meeting presided by Karnataka Association of over 10 States participated in the meeting.
The Federation in validity registered vides Registration no: S-628/87-88 dated 19-12-1987 – at Bangalore.
Apart from looking after the welfare of the member associations and safe guarding the service condition of the members, the main objective and aim of the Federation is Promotion of Road Safety.
The federation is a member of the National Road Safety Council of India (Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
To achieve this, the Federation has organized many useful workshops and seminars on Road Safety at Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Jaipur, Chennai, Coimbatore, Cochin, Trivandrum, Lucknow, Udaipur, Tripura and Ranchi.
The federation conducted 1st International Conference of Road Safety Vision 2030 at Udaipur-Rajasthan.
The federation organised a training program in the USA for members from various states a three week crash course on "Scientific Investigations Re-construction of Road Crashes" at Omaha-Nebraska.
The federation delegation had a High Level Meeting with the US Department of Transport (USDOT) at Washington DC organized by Mr Siva Narla, Senior Director, Institute of Transportation Engineers USA.

The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH) has been facilitating computerization of over 1300+ Road Transport Offices across the country. RTOs issue Registration Certificate & Driving License that are mandatory requirements and are valid across the country, subject to certain provisions and permissions.
